Winter Play

by: Peace Gorrell
20170113_093958_HDR.jpgEvery year after the musical, LCHS holds auditions for a winter play; this year he plans on doing another called My Man Godfrey. The play is about a group of rich people, and they decide to take in a homeless man named Godfrey. They let him be their butler but further on, the rich family suspects that Godfrey isn’t exactly who they think he is. It will be held in the auditorium Friday, February 3rd, and Saturday, February 4th both at 7:00pm.  One dollar from every ticket will be donated to Homeless Connections Fox Valley. I interviewed Mr. Frankenberg, the lead director, and Destiny Fay about their feelings towards the show.
I asked Destiny if she was excited about the show, and she said, “I’m really excited, yes!” She also said there are “High expectations from former peers.” Lastly, I talked to Mr. Frankenberg about his thoughts on the play, and he said, “We have really talented people that perform on stage, never worry about my actors.” And when I asked about the relationship between all the actors he said positive things like, “They kinda pull each other up,” and that he is, “Really happy and proud.”

The cast and directors are really proud and excited, and they want to see everyone there February 3rd and 4th to cheer them on!
